Longchamp
In 1948, Jean Cassegrain turned his Paris tobacco shop—where he was known to cover his pipes in an exquisite leather—into an accessories business. Named after the famed horse track on the outskirts of Paris, Longchamp is still family owned and operated, creating superbly crafted handbags and luggage lauded for a decidedly understated, always chic look.

A Minimalist Must Have
I didn't like the look of this backpack when it first came out, but one day when I was walking in the museum, I saw a lady carrying one, and it just looked so simple and elegant on her.
I got mine in black the next day, and a few thoughts about this bag will be:
Pro:
-Just the right size to carry what I actually need on a daily basis;
-Very lightweight and can be folded for easy packing;
-Adjustable shoulder straps offer more flexible length options based on different weathers and looks;
-Cute for all sorts of outfits, well, at Least I think;
Con:
-It smells terrible inside for the first month or so;
-For the black one, the lining is also black, so it can be hard to find things sometimes;
I'm enjoying mine at the moment, and I hope you find this review helpful.

Looks cheap
I read the reviews and wanted to give it a chance. I went ahead and ordered it. At the post office I opened the box. It's quite small and the material seems of low quality :( I was very upset and at that moment put the shipping label and sent it back. If you are a teenager and do not have a lot of things in your purse and want to but something European and not common buy it; I would not recommend this for an adult.

Straps could be better
I really like the size of this backpack and my Longchamp bags take a beating and hold up, but the design decision to leave the strap ends lose makes me unhappy with the bag and therefore I am returning it. I do not like the look of the strap tails hanging down and wish they were designed to be attached and looped up into the shoulder strap.
I will continue to have Longchamp for life, but not this one unless the strap design is improved.

Best travel companion
This is the perfect size for travel -it folds up to envelope size in the suitcase, small enough that you do not have to check it in the museums, holds as much as a purse, is lightweight and distributes weight evenly so one shoulder isn't carrying the weight, pick pocket proof, and you can toss it into the washing machine. Best of all it is highly water resistant and will keep your things dry in a downpour.

Nice small daily backpack
At first I was surpised the backpack was a little smaller than I was thinking it would be. But then I remembered I was looking for a day purse to just fit my items. It fits my travel size wallet, phone, sunglasses, a little makeup bag. The material of the bag is wonderful as well as the colors. It’s lightweight and very sporty and cool :)

Great and stylish backpack for travel
This is a "smallish" backpack, but was perfect for our recent travels throughout Italy! It was large enough to hold my wallet and my full-size camera and lens and other personal items, but not so big that it was too bulky, heavy, or in the way. It also wiped cleaned following any spills, and was waterproof. All items were safe and protected by the nylon material. Highly recommend. My 25 year-old daughter also carried on some of the days, and loved it, as well!

Nice but too small a backpack
While I usually do like all "Le Pliage" items, this backpack is way too small. The opening is narrow so getting items into and out of this backpack is very difficult. I thought I'd use it for my camera and a few essentials while traveling and it just wasn't usable. It's such a strange shape that it's not good for a backpack handbag either. Sorry to say I'm Returning this item.
