Epure Leather Card Case

I struggled writing this review because my conflict with this product is not related to the actual product, but the description by Nordstrom. Let me explain: This card case is beautiful—in design and function. However, after consulting the Longchamp website, I learned it is made from calfskin. Nordstrom lists it simply as “leather.” No judgment whatsoever for those comfortable buying calfskin, but I am not comfortable. If Nordstrom had identified this product accurately, I would not have purchased it and had to return it. Again, I love Longchamp bags and understand theirs is a legacy of high quality leather. But I would respectfully request that Nordstrom distinguish between cowhide and leather and calfskin for consumers’ benefit.

When I first purchased this card case, I loved it. I loved that it held a bit more than a traditional card case. I loved the color and texture of the leather. However, after less than six months of use, parts of the leather finish are rubbing off on the exterior, leaving ugly light spots. I am rather disappointed that Nordstrom sold an item that lasted for such a short time. What a waste of time and money.
