Long Sleeve Mock Neck Midi Dress

This dress is gorgeous. Nice that it's lined, flows well, very flattering cut. The waistband is very flattering on this dress. In light of other reviews of this brand I had ordered one size down, a 6 instead of 8. Once on the dress fit well, but I returned it for an 8. Halfway up the back of the dress, the cut narrows unexpectedly. On the 6 I needed help getting the back zipper up because of this. Lacking personal attendants to dress me in the morning, I returned and ordered an 8. It still required acrobatics to get the zipper up, but I made it. I may need more yoga going forward though, or I might pull something other than the zipper the next time. Only other ding on this dress is the two tiny clasps at the back of the neck are sewed in cheaply so it's difficult to close and open. I don't like to spend five minutes putting a dress on. Fortunately the neck is stiff enough to stand on its own and my hair covers the back of the neck, so I might on occasion go without clasping the back. A seamstress/tailor can probably reinstall the clasps more elegantly, or, radical idea, replace them with larger clasps for women who have adult-size hands.

my normal size 8 was too tight in the bust/shoulders/back. Cute dress so I reordered in 10. That fit better although still skimpy in the bodice. The problem was the poor quality of the sewing. The hem in back hung noticeably uneven. I give up. Really wanted this dress to work. had to return both.
