Removable Hood Raincoat

This is a beautifully made coat and I love the style and color. It's not your usual beige trench coat. I will wear it most of the time without the hood, so I am happy that it is removable. I did have return the large petite for a medium. I read the description that said it ran small, so I went up from my usual medium, and that was a mistake. The large was really way too big; the arms were too long and it did not look stylish at all because it was so roomy. For reference, I am 5'2', weigh 130 pounds and the petite medium fits perfectly. I am very happy with this coat.

This is just the perfect raincoat and the color is beautiful-the online picture doesn’t do it justice. It’s really a lovely neutral that has more pizzazz than the standard black, grey or khaki. The fit is as expected, I’m a size 6 in tops and an 8 in bottom pieces. I usually buy a jacket or coat in size 8 or Medium. This fits perfectly in a medium with room for a sweater underneath in cooler weather. The fabric is lightweight but warm enough for most winter days in So. California. It will be a great travel piece also. The cut is flattering and I like not having to deal with a belt. I don’t have any issue with the hood not hanging well as mentioned by others....I LOVE this purchase!

I love everything about this coat. It is exactly what I was looking for with it's detachable hood, length, and A-line style. Because it has no belt, it will go over anything. I especially love the color because it is not only beautiful, but it is also unusual. Every time I wear it, I get compliments on it and am asked where I got it. Thank you, Nordstrom's for always being the store where I can find what I want. Because so many stores here have closed, you are my "go to" for everything. I ordered a petite medium and it fits perfectly.
