Après Waterproof Down Parka

I've had this coat for two months now and I wanted to wait until it got really cold and wet before I wrote my review. I have washed it once, too. In short, this is the warmest, most stylish coat I've ever had. I've worn it in Seattle rains while wakling my dog and my sweater was dry underneath. The temps recently got down to 19F and I visited a windy dog park. It did very well at keeping me toasty and I have to mention the design of the hood is incredibly good shielding my face from windy, cold, wet elements. I'm 5"7 and 165 pounds (36 DDD) so ordered a size large and it left plenty of room for my thick pullover sweaters. The length at just above the knee allows good coverage for my legs but allows walking up steep inclines in my Seattle neighborhood without constricting my gait. It's very chic - can be dressed up or down. Also no obvious branding - there is one small black logo on the side of the sleeve but it's not noticeable. Not interested in being a walking brand advertisement. But I am happy to leave this excellent review. Great value and I highly recommend.

Nice fit and seems pretty warm. Runs large though. At 5’2”, 130lbs I’m usually a S in most outerwear and the S in this coat was overwhelming and not flattering. Pleasantly surprised when tried out the XS as it fit as it looks in the model pics. I have a XS in a Canada Goose lorette parka and this XS is much roomier and not as tight in the chest. We’ll see how it performs in Chicago this winter but it’s a stylish coat that feels very well made.

I replaced a North Face puffer/parka with this coat and it is so much warmer and waterproof. I love all the details, like the snaps in front over the zipper, because sometimes rather than zipping it all the way, I can just quickly close it up with the snaps. And I love the carry straps inside- I’ve used on so many occasions now. I’m 5’11 and 170lbs and got the Large.
