What it is: A soap that exfoliates, softens and smoothes your skin.
What it does: Enriched with ground almond shells, this soap gently scrubs away dead skin cells while sweet almond oil softens, leaving skin with the light scent of fresh almond.
How to use: On damp skin, create a soft foam by rubbing the soap between your palms. Gently massage on rough body areas using a mitt, sponge or your hands. Rinse.

Moisturizing and Gently Exfoliating
This soap is a great value! In comparison to a typical moisturizing Dove bar soap, the L'Occitane is a bit smaller and probably lasts about 2 weeks less. I used one bar of the almond soap for a little over a month, probably 5-6 weeks including a trip to Mexico. This soap makes my skin softer than anything else I have tried, including much more expensive body washes. I use it to shave my legs as a lather and then rub on my body to exfoliate. Exfoliating with this soap seems much cleaner that using a loofah. The smell is great; I use a number of products from the almond line at L'Occitane. As always the free shipping from Nordstrom makes this the perfect place to order only soap from.

They changed it.
This has been a favorite for years. It was perfect, but they changed it. Now, it is discolored [dark brown], with less almond shells, has no scent or a very light [oily] scent, and an unpleasant oily texture. Would not recommend.

I use this for my oily skin
This is a great item for facial use if you have oily skin and need to exfoliate often! Only recommend this to people who struggle with maintaining and controlling oils, however.

Fabulous smell and love the exfoliating!
Got a sample of this soap recently and my husband and I both LOVE it! (That never happens lol.) Looked all over to see where I could purchase more and found it at Nordstrom. The smell is just so good and the bits of almond feel wonderful on your skin. The soap is pretty expensive but the quality is amazing. I would guess this soap may be uncomfortable for those with sensitive skin but I absolutely love it. Highly recommend.

Exfoliates also
Has an exfoliating peeling effect. Smells good, quite good actually. It's just a little bit smaller than other soaps

nice soap
I like this soap, great scent, leaves skin nice and soft...but it's a little too abrasive on my sensitive skin. I decided to use it mainly on my feet, and on the rough & bumpy skin on my upper arms. I think it's just me though, anyone who does not have overly sensitive skin will love this, I think.
