Most Comfortable Slim Fit Ever!
Perfect replacement to my TNF thermoball parka I had for years. I’ve always preferred the slim insulated down jackets but as I’ve gotten a little older they don’t fit as comfortably in my bust and armpits (too tight) & sizing up just results in a disproportionate fit (too large on bottom). This LL Bean fits marvelously on both the upper and bottom on my 5ft 3in frame. It’s like the perfect version of a slim/regular fit. I’m even considering getting another one but in a different color!

LL Bean Women's ultralight 850 Down Coat
I bought this two weeks ago because of it's warmth; supposed to keep me warm in harsh weather (40 degrees). It is the worst coat I have ever purchased. The weather lately has been in low sixties and it cannot even keep me warm now. The only thing this coat is good for is Spring in California. It is certainly not worth the $300 price. If you want warmth, buy something else. Wish I would have returned it.

Nice coat But tight upper sleeves on me
This coat is very nice, not puffy and it is shaped. But the upper sleeves were too tight for me and I would not be able to wear any layers under it. My upper arms are rather large. And so I gave it 4 stars.

Great little coat
Got this as a replacement for my aging down coat and I love it. It's warm enough for most of the winter (except the very coldest days) and fits TTS. The two way zipper is an improvement over my old coat, and the pockets are warmly lined. The hood is handy to pull up when it gets windy, and I liked the water resistant feature. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. LL Bean comes through again.

Warm Coat
This coat is warm. It’s not as “shaped” as others. I’m 5’4 120 and XS fits with room to layer underneath. The hood is not removable but I don’t mind that. I like that there is not a fleece or fabric lining bc I found in the past that contributed to my sweaters pilling. This coat had the features I wanted and is warm!

So warm and lightweight
Coat runs large consider purchasing a size smaller. I have purchased many items directly from L.L. Bean always happy with the brand, now I can purchase locally if I need immediately. The coat is very warm and lightweight, love the color. I am 5'8 150 kept the Med with room to layer.
