Not up to Snuff
This edition lacks a zip rear pocket, and the drawstring is not as hefty as the Bean version I have. Most importantly, it lacks the use of grommets for the drawstring pass thru holes. The result is that, over time, I found that the draw string cuts thru the waist band fabric; there goes a secure tightening.

I should have ordered Large instead of Extra Large
They are excellent, well-made shorts/swimsuit. Shorts with a built in mesh jock strap are swimsuits to me. But the bigger surprise was the size. I have moved up from Large to Extra Large for years now and the X-large always fits me well, except this time. They are too big and the elastic will not hold them up on my waist. I have to cinch up the draw string to keep them from falling down. They appear to me to actually be XX-large. But I will survive and otherwise they are nice.
