Boothbay Water Friendly Sandal (Women)

I’ve owned this style of sandals for years and they are comfortable and sturdy. I use them for walking on the road, trail, sand beach, coral rubble beach, and rocky/pebble coastline. The only major problem is the straps stretch when wet so there is very little Velcro attached. On the two straps that go across your toes. So I sew on extra Velcro onto the loop side of the straps. This year I bought the TEVA light sander from LLBean and they are my new favorite.

I've owned several pairs of these over the years and I hoped they had redesigned the placement of the velcro on the straps. There isn't enough loop on the tow straps especially the middle one. In the past I sewed on extra loop. Otherwise, when the sandals are on my feet the strap has only about 1/4" of velcro loop and hoop attached. I returned these and bought Teva Terra Fi Lite Sandals which are a good alternative.
