8" Insulated Waterproof Bean Boot (Men)

I bought these boots 5 years ago and I still love them. Fit: I wear 7.5D and bought a pair of size 7D. Fit perfectly. Mind the sizing suggestions from LL Bean. Materials: The pebbled leather upper was soft and pliable. No break in needed. Looks great too. The rubber sole has held up well. All seams and stitching are still tight. Comfort: My initial comcern was that the soles would not provide enough cushioning for my old feet. Walking around all day in them is not a problem. No discomfort at all. Serious hiking? Not enough cushioning but I didn’t buy them for that. I didn’t expect flannel to provide serious insulation. Kept my feet warm & dry down to the teens. I have heavier boots for colder conditions. Final thoughts: I bought these to wear around town during the winter and they are perfect for that. They keep my feet warm and dry. I love that they are made by hand in Maine. I love the history of Bean Boots. Highly recommend. Mind the sizing suggestions. I see wearing these forever.
