Pippa Long Sleeve Frill Shirtdress

LK Bennett's Pippa is almost too pretty to be a denim dress. Not surprising considering the level of detail and care in the design and construction (you've got to love British tailoring), but it elevates denim beyond "dressy casual" into something utterly feminine yet effortlessly wearable. The dress starts with a super lightweight, velvety-soft denim with just a hint of stretch. Clean lines, subtle stitching, and simple buttons allow the true star of the dress—the gorgeous frilled Peter Pan collar—to shine. The design creates a beautiful throughline with frilled cuff details. Pockets make the feminine design practical, with a buckle belt at the waist that tucks nicely into belt loops; an X belt loop in the back keeps the belt secure. Darts at the bust create straight, clean lines for a very traditional shirt dress cut. I'm 5'2 and petite, so on me this is a longer midi dress; on most, it'll hit as a true midi. On sizing, again, it's classic British tailoring, so it's very true to size; if you're not familiar with their sizing, suggest going up to see how it fits, as even with the stretch fabric, the style isn't forgiving.
