How to use: Apply to wet hair. Massage at the scalp and work into a lather. Use the rich lather to begin the detangling process if desired. Rinse. Follow with conditioner.

Essential Shampoo
An associate recommended this shampoo as my hair looked like it had mountains of frizz. After my first wash, it was clear that my hair was curly the whole time. Once I learned how to correctly define and style my hair, I couldn't be happier with this shampoo. It is essential to keep my hair soft and healthy.
FYI the company says that this is not supposed to lather much, so don't be upset since the company made the shampoo that way.
However, one way to help lather more is by washing with whatever shampoo first, then use this one as less dirt makes it lather better (if doing so works for your budget).

heavy greasy look
This shampoo was way too heavy on my waves. My hair looked wet all day. Returning!

Nice but nothing special
I really like living proof products. I liked this shampoo. It took me a while to get used to the low suds in this as I do like a lather in my shampoo. However I know this isn’t always the best for curly hair. I didn’t find my hair any better after using it so not sure I would repurchase over other living proof products. I might give it one more try

New favorite
This is my new favorite and actually my hairdresser reccommend it to me. I have very flexible hair and this made it even more curly. Still need to get used that i have curly hair. Otherwise I liked this and other products from same line. Definetely rebuy.

Living Proof Curl Shampoo
It took me some time to get use to this shampoo as it is very low lather. The texture is very dense and also creamy. I use the shampoo in conjunction with the conditioner in the same range. With the combination my hair feels clean and very soft. This is a good duo for curly hair.

Soft hair
I really like this curl shampoo - it is very thick and creamy, and it gives you low foam suds but you still feel like your hair is getting cleaned. On its own I don't think it's life changing, but coupled with the conditioner you get really shiny and soft hair.

Just wow
Ladies, you have to use the WHOLE system to see true results. Can't just use shampoo and conditioner to see much of a difference. Pending on your curl type, you need to use the finishing products after the shampoo and conditioner. I was skeptical at first, so I purchased the "Starter Kit" for my curl type. When I used all 4 products together, WOW!!!!! My curls have never looked so good! It's not cheap when you go into buying all 4 in full size... But, oh so worth it! I've recommended this line to several people, and they have all agreed with me you have to use the entire line to really get the full benefit, especially the Curl Defininf Gel. That's a life changer!!! My hair dresser LOVES Living Proof everything, and recommended this line to me. So glad she did!
