Liv Penny Loafer (Women)

I’m in love with these shoes! I have the GH bass loafers and these compare in many ways to the quality. I think they are mostly true to size (maybe a run touch small) and I haven’t had an issues with them rubbing or breaking in. My only gripe is I got the pink color and the black bottoms scuff the sides of the shoe leaving black marks. You can mostly wipe off the marks, but for the price it’s a bit of a design flaw. Also keep in mind that lighter colors in these start to show signs of wear quickly with how the material creases. With a shoe like this it’s best presented clean and well kept. The pink color isn’t as forgiving as other colors might be in this context. So overall I recommend, but pick your shoe shade wisely!

Made with leather, most importantly leather lining, this shoe is comfortable, while being adequately conservative for work it is also very pretty in pink. If you tend to be between sizes, go down a half-size with this one. I typically wear an 8 1/2 - 9 and usually get 9s to be safe when ordering, but I needed to get an 8 1/2 in this shoe.

I re-ordered these Free People loafers in size 8 because they were 1/2 size too big, I walked right out of the 8 1/2. I have purchased/returned/reordered appx. 10 different loafers and I find that the heel fit is the difficult fit spot in loafers in general; it is either too tight to get your foot in or too loose and your heel slips out when you walk, even with heavier socks. The size and fit were perfect in the size 8, HOWEVER, I was expecting the lug sole/heel to feel more elevated but it felt too flat so I returned them. These have a nice burnished brass piece in the "penny keeper", it looks very classy with the leather!
