Soft, yes, but did any of the other reviewers see this blanket before recommending? Check the dimensions before you purchase this! It would not swaddle a newborn nor cover a child of any age for warmth! Perhaps it will be a “lovey” to be dragged around. I don’t even think it is large enough to cover a car seat or drape over a stroller. Buy the $86 version if you want something you’ll actually use!

Just the right amount of cozy softness to make it perfect for snuggling your little one . It will be the blanket they fall asleep with for years after they've outgrown the crib. Remains in like new condition wash after wash. I have purchased Little Giraffe blankets repeatedly for the babies in our family and they are always the favorite. Constantly high quality and does not disappoint.

This blanket was a gift. Very sweet and thoughtful. I wanted a different color. I called several Nordstrom stores and Unfortunately no one had the color I really wanted. Alderwood said they had it. When I arrived. It was the wrong blanket. I asked the salesperson to check in the system to see if any store in the network had it. She wouldn't do that or call another store for me. Her customer service was deplorable. I left unhappy. Went to Bellevue Square Nordstrom. Where the salesperson bent over backwards to help me. She ordered me the blanket. My daughter loves it. Thank you Bellevue Square!
