Little Chef Westchester Kitchen Playset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old really enjoys playing with it but putting together took forever. Some of the pieces were not fitting right and needed to be adjusted to fit. It took over an hour to finally get it together. Once built it is cute and my son loves playing with it. I would suggest not having your kids play too rough with it because it is not all that sturdy.

It didn't take very long for my husband to put it together.I love that all the cabinets open and there is lots of storage space for kitchen toys. It even comes with 2 ice cubes and when you put the cup in its spot the ice cubes with fall in it. My only complaints are they could have come up with something better to hang the play cordless phone on and it should come with something to give you the option to attach it to the wall if you would want to for a safety feature. I can't wait for my Grand babies to come over and play with this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited about giving my son the Teamson Kids - Little Chef Westchester Retro Play Kitchen. However, some assembly required is not nearly accurate. I spent three hours putting this together and not all the screw holes were drilled throughly. The clock that was on the backsplash had let go and I had to glue it back on. If you like putting things together then this is for you. I can say all the pieces were there and once put together it was quite sturdy. My son enjoys playing with this and hasn't managed to destroy it. The paint doesn't come off easy.

Instruction manual was very easy to read and it took me a little over an hour to assemble, would take less time with help. I did use both a empact drill and a hand screwdriver during assembly. Some parts were easier to do by hand it tight spaces. My kids absolutely love it. Their favorite part is the chalkboard on the fridge and that the ice maker actually dispenses the ice cubes. Of course they love the fun of pretend cooking as well. This is made with heavy duty wood, very sturdy, and made to last years. I love the retro style look, it looks so fancy sitting in my kids room.
