Little Chef Boston Kitchen Playset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty cute play kitchen. I love the color scheme and how sturdy everything feels. The assembly took me a lot longer than I had anticipated. The online instructions were incorrect for some steps so I ended up using the included manual instead. The panels included in the box are decent weight but there were several pieces in my set that were damaged. For example the wood was chipped in one piece and there a few others where the pre-drilled holes had caused the wood to split. So although the construction was solid, the quality of the pre-drilled pieces was a bit lacking. The other improvement I can think of is for the door handles of the oven and dishwasher. They are placed horizontally when in fact the door actually opens in the vertical direction so it would have been more intuitive to place the handles vertically also. Other than that, once it was all assembled it looked like a nice modern kitchen. The included accessories were a nice touch too and my son really enjoys having his own kitchen. Overall it’s a decent kitchen but could use some improvements. I like that the color scheme is neutral and both boys and girls will like it.
