What it is: A hydrating matte lipstick with a dreamy, airy feel and vivid, clean pigment for lips that feel as good as they look.
What it does: Plump, nourish and smooth with a blend of peptides, vitamins C and E and Hydro Suede Technology. The lipstick is formulated with a volumizing, moisture-locking system that delivers matte pigment without drying or feathering.
Key ingredients:
- Hyaluronic acid: made with three different sizes of hyaluronic acid for optimal hydration. It attracts lip-plumping moisture like a magnet—plumping and smoothing skin
- Meadowfoam extract: nourishes and conditions, seals moisture in and helps extend hydration all day
- Kaolin clay: mattifies while preventing smudging or feathering
- Vitamin C and E: antioxidant and lip-conditioning properties
How to use: Swipe the lipstick on lips directly from bullet for vivid payoff. For a more subtle, diffused look, blot the lipstick onto lips with fingers. Use the hidden mirror on the inside of the cap for on-the-go application.

The color “Petal” was shown in two photos to be the perfect pale pink/ taupe. On the lips, it is skin tone. No color. I further found the description of matte to be way off. It is glossy. It’s going back.

Online Color Swatch WRONG!
Let me start by saying I LOVE this Lip Suede formula....yes, it transfers.....yes, it is creamy not dry....and yes, the wear time is not the best but the formula is so delightful! HOWEVER, I researched the new color PINCH best as I could before dropping 53 dollars (NO FREEBIES HERE lol) on a tube and the Westman website lists color as "raspberry" and the Nordstrom website color square appears more on the cool side, but the arm swatch on the second from left arm appears different from the color square above it....almost slightly more reddish. I received PINCH today and it is a massive let down because on my medium skin tone it pulls warm...almost red orange and nothing like the online color depicted. I read other reviews stating Westman pulls warm often and yes.....that is so true. I hope Westman reads this review and for us COOL LIPSTICK loving gals, launches some cool lighter colors in this formula. I also purchased Rose, which is depicted as a "mauve" so maybe i will have better luck with the cool aspect because I am so fed up with receiving warm orange lipsticks. This lipstick is expensive so please Westman A. launch a cool "raspberry" and I and MANY other cool leaning gals will be thrilled!!!

not exactly clean
Gets a 33 (poor) rating on Yuka app. Because of that I took 2 starts, but if you just want a nice lipstick, this is for you. I put on my cracked lips from being dehydrated and it went on smoothly. The color is bright, the feel is good.
