Lip Perfector Conditioning Balm

This a heavier balm, feels nice once it is on the lips, however as I apply it, it drags/pulls on my lips a little more than I'd like- not so pleasant when my lips are chapped. The color develops into a very bright pink on me. Much brighter than the Dior or 3lab balms. It's not bad, I just have to be more careful when applying as to not get it outside my lip lines.

I’ve used this product for almost ten years. I first received it as a gift with purchase, but I have purchased it a few times since then. It lasts a long time for one thing! It usually turns into a gorgeous, somewhat bright, pink. It has turned waaaaay too bright when I’ve eaten spicy foods, so don’t wear this if you’re going on a date to an Indian restaurant ;) It has a tropical fruit scent that I personally think is nice and enjoyable to use. The formula isn’t as soft and buttery as I’d like. It feels stiff and waxy and doesn’t melt easily on the lips, but on a positive note once you get enough coverage it does seal moisture in pretty well, so my lips don’t feel dry. In this photo I used ordinary lipbalm first, followed by just one swipe of this lipbalm over it. You can see there is plenty of color with one swipe. Even though it’s not a perfect 5-star product because there are minor things that could use some tweaking, it’s still an absolute staple in my wardrobe. I also love the look, weight and feel of the slick case. This looks much more natural to me than Dior’s color changing lipsticks, which make me feel like a clown at times—too bright and sparkly. My other favorite color changer is Frog Prince. But this one by Trish is my #1 favorite.
