Lip Maestro Matte Liquid Lipstick

This is possibly the worst lip product I have purchased this year. The first time I wore it I just happened to look in my review mirror before getting out of the car and saw that it was literally outside my lips by a good half inch and I didn't speak or eat or anything after I applied it. The only way I can successfully wear it is blot it off and leave a "stain" which I feel is a complete waste of product especially at this price point. FYI, the color that is referred to as "The Red" on Armani's website is called "Hollywood" on Nordstrom's site. I don't know why. Just so you know. This is the best color EVER. I am a person of Indian ethnicity, and it looks AMAZING on my skin tone. I matched it with Urban Decay's 69 Lip Pencil and it looks great. This lip laquer is not sticky, not drying, is long lasting (and fades evenly across your lips when it does give out). It also smells nice. I strongly recommend this product and this color, specifically. Please, don't ever discontinue it. Or, please give me advance notice if you do, because I'd definitely like to stock up.

I am always on the search for long lasting but comfortable lipsticks, and was especially excited to try thIs one after reading several good reviews. However, I was disappointed in this product. The color, Terra, was a nice, deep, reddish brown, and the applicator (and application) was nice, but I found this to be very drying and the staying power on me was not terrific, AND it wore off unevenly, which really bugs me in a high end lip product. Thank goodness for Nordstrom's great return policy! Ended up purchasing Burberry's Lip Cover in Deep Burgundy instead, which I love.

longingly stared at reviews/swatches 201 for weeks. after receiving first Armani rouge(plum 603)- hooked. somehow though couldn't commit to 201. Personal Opinion Deep Pockets Dark Lip Expensive Mistake List- chanel rouge noir, almadine, ysl noir laque, ysl violet edition, guerlain samsara, vega, nars palais royale, volga, club mix, danged, train bleu(tears), sensai 15, urb decay venom, shame, dior daisy plum, hypnose red, etc... almost ordering every other aubergine, blood, dark, "vamp" lip in the world along with all the above. Gosh, bless em' all but problems. too much work. i felt sad. Armani thank you i am saved. 201 is awesome. truly and honestly velvet, applied. most opaque and deep color single swipe super light long wear formula. EXCITE ME LIPPY! the surprise is when i wear it on a dark cloudy afternoon. BANG! the color is in a LEAGUE OF ITS OWN. reminds not of lipstick but of red velvet cake mix in the most dynamic way possible. and why does nars matte smell like crayons?
