New Take On An Old Favorite
I’ve worn Casablanca off and on for years so I was excited to try it in the new formulation. I wasn’t disappointed. It is richly pigmented and yet it feels weightless on the lips. It wears well and doesn’t migrate or settle into my lip lines. I’m 81 and know all about lip lines! Although I love the new TF lip pencil, I find it really isn’t needed. I just apply the lipstick directly from the tube and then use a brush to smooth it out and refine the lip line. That’s it! I also have the lipstick in Slip which is a great no fuss everyday color and Runway Rose which is a drop dead gorgeous color.

Color closer to color swab pic
I purchased "Impassioned".I'm tanned skinned and was looking for a between mauve and pinkish color without the washout but not too bright. The color turned out too bright for my taste. When looking at the photo online, the color of the lipstick is closer to the color swab photo and not the color shown on the models face. Keep that in mind when picking our your color.

I’m not new to Tom Ford but new to his lipstick and I must say I am impressed! The formulation is baby smooth and creamy as a lipstick should be. For this price point I understand quality over quantity! I may have to put aside my grievances and treat myself to this beauty gem. I brought the color Slip which is an absolutely beautiful shade of light pink. I am a Caramel shaded African American for reference and this looks Beautiful on my skin tone. I’m in love with Tom Ford’s products all over again!

The Complete Package
This lipstick rocks! It goes on effortlessly. The finish is satin with enough gloss to make your lips glisten. Its longevity is average — about six hours without eating — so be prepared to freshen up throughout the day. It’s a moisture-rich, non-drying formula so it was an absolute pleasure to slick it on. The color I chose — “Impassioned” — is simply stunning on my complexion. As a Bright Spring, I generally wear warm, clear colors that complement my warm fair skin, dark brown hair, and blue-green eyes. “Impassioned” is a bright, moderately deep shade that lies somewhere between mauve and burgundy. It goes from day to night with ease. The color on Nordstrom’s website is not all that accurate. It reads less brown in person.
I have about twenty lipsticks. This is definitely in my top five. It’s the complete package and another winner for Tom Ford.
