Linen Box Quilt

We bought the quilt to swap out our heavier duty duvet with something lighter and more breathable for the summer. I needed something that wouldn't smother us or overheat us but that still had a little bit of cling or heft to the fabric so that I still felt snug and swaddled (I can't sleep without at least a *little* bit of weight on my body) I've gotta tell you - this quilt is it. The linen is so soft and with the way the quilt is woven, it gives just the right amount of texture and tug to still feel cozy. It hugs your body just right but man it is BREATHABLE. Our AC broke in the middle of some freak 90-degree weather - and this quilt did us right. Cozy and cool through the entire night (we used it like we would a duvet, on top of a flat sheet). My husband and I slept so soundly through the heat - the quilt was cool exactly when we needed it to be, and just the right amount of warm. Super impressed. Highly recommend.

I ordered this quilt in Misty (very light blue grey color) in 2016 or thereabouts. I liked it as it went well with my grey and white aesthetic at the time. I felt like the material got worn and startled greying within 2 years. I purchased the same quilt in Bone this Fall preparing to move in with my boyfriend. I almost thought that I received the Misty color again because the shade of Bone IRL isn’t milky enough to be a true neutral against colors.
