Linen Blend Button-Up Shirt

I absolutely love this shirt. Blown away by the fit and quality at this price point. It’s super versatile and easy to wear, I’ve worn it with jeans, shorts, even bike shorts a few times. Dress it up with some gold jewelry. Perfect for travel. I live in Alabama and I wear this shirt year round - it’s that’s comfy and breathable. The best part, it’s super flattering on the extra 30 pounds I’ve gained since Covid that sits right on my waist band. I’m working to lose it but it’s stubbornnnnn and I’m super self conscious and aware of it, and this shirt hangs so beautifully, I always feel confident when I wear it. I’m 5’3”, 148 lbs, 34B with all my extra weight in the middle. Medium fits perfectly. I have this shirt in white and tan. Washes really nicely too. I don’t usually put things in the dryer but forgot to wash it before traveling once and was so desperate to wear it that I risked the dryer and was really impressed that it didn’t shrink. It came out perfect. Now I damp dry them everytime. I’m impressed with all of Carlson’s linen pieces - I also have two pairs of the linen pants and one pair of shorts. You can’t go wrong with this one ladies!!

I recently ordered three Caslon linen blend shirts for the summer. Two arrived from Riverside, CA Nordstrom neatly folded in plastic bags placed inside a cardboard box. The light blue shirt linen blend shirt was wadded up and wrinkled, shipped in a plastic bag from Glendale, CA Nordstrom. It also has a perfume smell and is not a crisp linen blend, more limp, like it's been tried on many times or possibly worn and returned. I like to wear these linen shirts as jackets and bought 2 othes in different colors prior to this order, which were fine. Nordstrom, you have NO quality control anymore. And then the customer has to take it in for a return. This points out that some stores get it right, and others don't care what they ship to the customer. I'd like to think these reviews help, but I doubt it.
