Xylia Tie Belt Cotton Minidress

I wasn't sure how I was going to like this dress on the hanger but once I put it on, I didn't want to take it off. The silhouette is so flattering; perfectly hugs my curves while still being comfortable! I am usually between a size 2 and 4 in woven dresses due to my curvier hips and needed the size 4 in this one because of that.

Sizing is off for larger sizes Size up at least 2 sizes. I'm usually a 10 and oof the 12 is snugger than a sausage - NOT flattering. I went with a suggestion from a boutique Insta post to size up and they weren't kidding. I would recommend if you have any curves whatsoever this isn't the design for you. This is for them young things. Slim waist and body down over the hips bc of the dropped waist. I could button the 12 but it was pulling and wildly unflattering because of the lack of give in the fabric. Not even worth trying the 14 - this just isn't adjusted for larger body types well. I thought I judged the style correctly but it's very very form fitting like a sheath dress. If you have a long torso - this is more for you. There isn't actually all that much fabric. If you are thin and tall in the middle - it will be flattering to your figure. But really Lilly should categorize their styles to help us identify dresses for certain body shapes since there's so much variability in design, fabric, fit in the brand. Just cannot tell from photos. Wild considering how loose some of the 10 dresses fit on me but that's my preference.

This little white dress is a perfect for spring. I love the white eyelet pineapples of the fabric! It is so cute as a fit and flare, it is definitely fitted because I needed to unbutton all the buttons in order to pull this over my head. But the body and waist shape is very flattering, I could even wear it without the belt.
