If you have hips consider sizing up
I am 5'4" and almost always wear an 8 in dresses; in jeans I usually wear a 10. 34C, 29ish waist and 38-39 hips. I ordered the medium and it fit well--not like on the model though. It hugged the curves (did not look like a straight fit dress) and was pretty flattering; the fabric is such that it doesn't really show imperfections....however if I walked around, it rode up, up, up. Bunching up as it went. So I ordered the Large, assuming it would be too big and I'd have to return it but the fit is actually better on me. No riding up when I move. It skims the curves rather than hugging them, which for me is preferable. It is looser on top but the nature of the fabric is such that this doesn't look so bad that I'd need to have it taken in, it actually looks more like it looks on the model. So I'm saying that this dress runs small, but that's only if you have hips. Lengthwise, at my height it hits just at the top of my kneecap, and there is about a 2" hem there so I might have it taken down a smidge but I'm not sure about that yet.

Didn't work for me
Unfortunately, this dress just didn't suit me. My measurements line up with the XXS but the XXS was too tight and too short. I tried the XS but it was too big, loose and shapeless. :( Too bad because it looked really cute online.

Very versatile dress
I got this dress today and am so pleased! The fabric is very nice quality. The ruffled neckline adds a unique touch to a solid color dress. The cut of the dress is flattering without being skintight. Knee length for me (I'm 5 ft). Can be dressed up or down.

Fantastic dress
I can see why people buy this dress style over and over when a new color is introduced.. It's very flattering and comfortable . Washable- no dry cleaning ! I am over age 65 , 5x5" and the dress is perfect length at the top of the knee cap. I recommend that people go by the size chart and not rely on another customer's weight. Body shapes can vary tremendously even with same height and weight. I bought a Small. My measurements are 36.5-27.5 -36. It skims the body and is not tight.
