Gapped at the arm openings

This dress is very pretty from the back side but the front arm holes gap. I will be returning this purchase

Gorgeous Dress, but Big Busted Ladies, Please Read

First of all, dress is BEAUTIFUL, and I am keeping it. Colors are gorgeous and bright but not neon. The lattice work in the back is darling, but not too low. Dress is regular bra friendly too. One reviewer mentioned it was fitted through the bust and waist, but I felt that since it was 100% pima cotton I should be OK. I am tall, muscular, large busted and regularly lift weights ("cut" arms, etc.) and a 38 DD. In Lilly, I wear an L in knits if spandex is limited to four percent or less. I size up to XL if there's five percent or more spandex/elastane. In structured shifts I wear a 14, comfortable without being baggy. I also have a bit of a tummy I'm working on. I received and tried on the Marcella today, and it was so gorgeous, but just the TEENIEST bit snug through the bust and upper body. I VERY GENTLY stretched it on each side, and it was fine. I plan to wash it in cold water and hang it up to dry to avoid shrinkage. Wearing it in a month to our 40th anniversary dinner. So THIS DRESS is motivating me to do my ab work and planks every day from now on! Thanks Lilly for another beautiful work of wearable art!

Love the fit and fabric

I think the wide range of reviews on this reflect different body types. I am petite, 5'4" and around 125, but chesty and often struggle with the usual A-line fit of Lilly tops and dresses which make me look top heavy. This dress has the perfect fit, slimming but not tight. I found it fit very similarly to the photo. I didn't give it 5 stars because I will have to get alterations to wear it, even the XS I purchased is much too long. As other reviews have said I also noted the arms seem a bit too open, but I have had that issue with other tops and taking up a little fabric at the shoulder is an easy fix. Overall very happy and worth the purchase!

gorgeous but gaps under arms

I love the print and it's so soft; beautiful features on back, but I wish the arm holes fit better. I love that it does not have slits. I'm petite and would have hemmed if I kept it
