Kascade Wedge Espadrille Sandal - Wide Width Available (Women)

Bought these shoes to wear on a trip to Europe. Was so excited to find they were comfortable enough to wear all day! Unfortunately, on the second day of wearing them, while walking around Paris, the roping around the bottom of the heel came loose and started to unravel. I had to stop at a store to borrow scissors to cut it off or I would have tripped over it. Very disappointed in how quickly this happened. These were my only pair of 'dressy' shoes, too.

I originally ordered the 8.5w but had to exchange for the 9w, so if you’re between sizes, I’d size up. I have a pretty high instep, and sadly the strap on these is just a little too tight. The strap is elastic but just not stretchy enough. After a full day wearing them, the strap was really digging into the top of my foot. I’m going to see if a shoe repair place can do anything (seriously another 1/4” would make a big difference!) but otherwise I’ll only be able to wear these for short periods of time. Other than that, they are very comfortable, so if you have a lower instep I’d definitely recommend!
