Gala Floral Tiered Cotton Maxi Dress

This Liberty/Nordstrom exclusive is one of those rare dresses that comes along that you just can't miss. The revamped 1960s/70s style has a classic Liberty build (cotton lawn fabric, impeccable attention to details) with a fitted bodice (including darts that nip it in at the bust and waist), a full skirt with two tiers and the most amazing fluted, tiered sleeves in my closet right now (in a packed closet full of neo-70s prairie dresses and similar styles). The fabric is a Liberty signature--pure cotton with an almost satin-like feel and sheen; the print is the sweetest, prettiest floral with delicate pops of pink, soft blue, purple, and green. It's a full maxi on me (I'm 5'2), but doesn't drag, even with flats. One word of caution on the size: this is definitely fitted, so consider sizing up. I'm a normal size 8 and went with a large after reading about the fit, and the dress could not fit more perfectly. Just don't let this one get away--it's not going to be around for long!
