Beautiful piece of luggage

Okay.. so I ultimately made the decision to return solely based on the fact that I’m really hard on luggage. I thought maybe it would hold up well given that Tumi has been in the biz for a long time but I couldn’t risk it. The top pocket is awesome and the space inside is adequate. The look and feel is lovely. The wheels move so so well. I ordered this hardcore osprey and immediately felt like I had made a mistake returning the Tumi because the wheels are comparatively awful. My only complaint was I need something that I could have easy access to my laptop and this was not it. The front pocket is too small and you must unzip the second pocket to get to a pocket that is big enough. Fortunately, there is a zip cover to separate your clothes once the second pocket is opened but still, I was looking for an outside laptop pocket. If it’s style you’re after I don’t think you can go wrong with this. If I was more of a luxury traveler or have more of a dainty way of handling things I would keep this hands down.

Wheels are off

I just got this bag and on my first flight, the wheels are not moving straight, the keep turning to the right and I have to keep steering it to move straight and forward, very annoying and disappointing for this price tag. I travel a lot and this is not going to work. Expected more from Tumi.

Weak Zippers & insubordinate quality

Although, I love Tumi these items are not built with the same quality as they used to be. not as sturdy, weak handles, wheels not that great, and zippers keep coming off, and in this case they break off. They are like a plastic type of material made to look like metal, and are only held in place with a little tab of material. The way the zippers are constructed I'm sure there will be problems for years to come even after the warranty.

TUMI, what happened?

Disappointed in the quality—very flimsy. The top zipper broke after minimal use. Surprising from TUMI, which I expected more from.

My go to pieces for travel!

I have used Tumi luggage for almost 25 years, and have always found the luggage, briefcase, backpacks, really all items to be my go to for travel, and I travel quite a bit. This piece is lovely, light and and matches an existing piece. Nice job Tumi!

The wheels tilt to the right. I packed it different way hoping it’ll work since I loved the light way material but it was impossible to make it work. Accident waiting to happen
