Hooded Puffer Jacket

I am rating this jacket with 5 stars though, sadly, I did return the jacket. This jacket was beautifully made and was clearly of exceptional quality. The material was substantial but soft and comfortable, the color I chose was a beautiful and cheerful green which seems difficult to find these days. The seams were flawless and the various closures (a center zipper and snaps as a secondary closure) were also substantial. I very much felt like I was in a very warm, very protective coat. The reason I returned the jacket was that I was looking for a coat that was warm but not overly "puffy", I have a very small build, and the jacket was just to "big" for my frame. Not necessarily in size, the sleeve length and width was perfect inside, but the appearance was of just too much coat. If zippered up to one's collar bone, for example, there is a collar that encircles your neck with the attached hood. If zippered this high, the collar stood too high for the length of my neck and therefore covered my chin. Just too much coat for my stature, and I am sorry I had to return it.
