Leopard Jacquard Blazer

I was surprised by the high price of this light weight, mostly unlined jacket. But I liked the print and decided to order it to see if there was something special about it I was missing. It’s a good animal print, and I love the seem detail and it has the deep pockets so many St John jackets do no have. I would have preferred a curved hem instead of it’s straight one. It feel more like a shirt jacket than a blazer when it is on. What made me decide to return it was the fact that after trying this jacket on just twice I noticed the buttons down the front coming loose - not what you expect from a quality item. This jacket is made oversees, not domestically like many of my previous St John purchases. It lacks the high-end construction of which St John is known. Even at 40% off it is priced too high.
