SILICONE FREE Clarifying gel texture. Low foam little on damp hair. Potent and effective, but over priced! Would love to see a value size.
Excellent clarifying shampoo thats SILICONE FREE!! Gel texture, low foam but effective, hydrated. Light herbal smell, refreshing and light.
Price point is terrible. I would love a value size pump bottle. Xx

Didn't even clean my hair
I had high hopes for this product from the positive reviews. I've had a flakey, itchy scalp this winter and was hoping this would relieve my symptoms. The scent is mild and unoffensive. The texture is a little bit more liquid than I expected, but that's not an issue. The main problem is that even with applying and rinsing twice (as instructed on the bottle), my hair and scalp did not feel clean. I tried this shampoo on four consecutive occasions and it simply did not clean my hair/scalp and it certainly did not address my dandruff. Note: I was previously using a sulfate-free shampoo and am experienced with cleansing my hair without much lather.
I honestly do not understand what the hype is with this product because I was left with stringy hair and the flakes remained. Also, this definitely took some of the life out of my hair color, leaving it dull; so if you color treat your hair, then beware! Thankfully, Nordstrom is amazing about accepting returns so I was able to get my money back.
For the price point, go with Aveda or Oribe instead.

Reduced my itch and flakes!
I get dandruff in the winter and was hesitant to try for the cost, but I’ve easily spent more money on Nizoral, Selsen Blue, and many other shampoos targeted at dandruff/itchy/flaky scalps and had zero success with them. I am about 11 shampoos in and I am pretty darn happy! I dropped a star because I do need to wash twice (cleanse and then treat) and it’s time consuming. Someone mentioned dull stringy hair but I have found that you really do have to slowly add water so you get a full lather root to tip (essential). As a test, I switched to my normal summer shampoo and the itch/flakes came back the next day, so I really believe this shampoo makes a difference. Also for the amount of shampoo used and the small bottle, I think I’ll probably get about 14-15 shampoos per bottle. Not cheap, but I think it’s worth the money.

Gentle, treats dandruff, a bit drying
I am middle-aged and ended up with the worst dandruff that has been ongoing for the past 9 months. Head & Shoulders helped a bit, but was stripping my hair and I notice more hair loss after using the H&S shampoo (probably because that brand has sodium laureth sulfate). This shampoo is much better than Head & Shoulders. It is slightly drying on my hair though. I wish this was more moisturizing.

Very effective anti-itching shampoo
This shampoo is wonderful! It's labeled as an anti-dandruff shampoo, but I use it to relieve my itchy scalp and it absolutely works. I know when my scalp starts to get itchy that I it's time to shampoo, which is usually about 2x/week. I follow the directions exactly - using a lot of shampoo, I massage it into my scalp for many minutes (until I get bored) and leave it on for at least 5 minutes, then rinse and repeat. I follow it with a very small dollop of Leonor Greyl PARIS Crème Aux Fleurs Cream Shampoo for conditioning, but you may not need it. The formula is very elegant and leaves my hair soft, silky, and not itchy. I cannot do without this shampoo!
