New Horse Figure!
What every Lego world needs! A horse set :)
Hadn't bought a new horse set since the 90's so was very pleasantly surprised to see that they had redone the noble beast so as not to be frozen in fear: This horse can rear!
Nice little set, build was quick but fun. Excellent figures, and so glad that there is safety helmets for both riders.

Easier build..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego set was a little easier set for our child than expected. Mostly due to the trailer pieces being large custom pieces just to make this trailer. It couldn’t really be used in other sets to make something. Although still a fun set and play time!

Design needs improvement
The equestrian rails are loose and roll about, the trailer can barely fit the horse and could be designed a bit better, and the jeep needs a better overall look. The horse's flexibility is lacking and the saddle is problematic to install and use.

Horse trailer
This was the perfect lego for my grand daughter who plays with what I build. She had recently visited a horse riding farm.

One of the best sets I've seen this year!
My niece and I have been doing covid co-builds of lego over the last few years, as it's sucked not seeing her. So we'll pick out a set or two, and I'll have a copy mailed to her as well as one to myself. The rule is we only build when we can facetime/skype, and it's not immune to groundings or other things like that. It's been an awesome experience getting a chance to hang out with her regularly, stay up to date on how her school is, etc. Besides, what else am I going to spend my money on? Besides even more Lego. So! Pony Wagon Kit!
It has everything! At least, everything a little horse-mad 9-year-old or her much older but still residually horse-mad uncle could want.
(I grew up on a horse farm and as a barn rat nearby, trading chores for lessons or arena time. My uncle raised happy appies. You have to be made of stone to not take even a vague interest in horses, especially after you've helped deliver your second foal.)
- It has a little truck and horse trailer! This one us about 1/10000th as dangerous as backing down a single wide. It even includes proper horse butt ventilation.
- The jump, ahhh! It's a perfect little upright, and lays the pattern down for all kinds of fun additions like trotting poles, oxers, crossrails (which I think look splendid in Lego form) and whatever environmental hazards you want to throw in for funsies. Lion, alligator, velociraptor, you know.
As an aside, the jump is very true to life, the rail just resting in a shallow cup. It's possible to nudge a rail and not have it come down, but when your combined weight is close to 2,000lbs and you're moving at 30mph, you're not gently nudging much of anything, heh. Still, a great little build that meant it was easy to reproduce and put a whole course out!
- The dog! I wasn't able to get the husky from the 2020+ minifig series, so I was thrilled to get one now. Every farm I know has a couple of dogs who have been concussed early and often and no longer bother the horses.
- All the little accessories. The brush, the carrot, the helmet, perfect. I'd ask for a hoof pick but I'm sure the Friends line has a melon baller or other ambiguous tool that will work in lieu.
Overall, of all the sets I've done lately, this still ranks up there as one of my favourites. I got to share some stories of my own with my nib, who was utterly amazed, haha. We got to talk about all kinds of animals. It was a quick build, but definitely way up there. A+++ for folks who like animals, especially horses, or if you need transport for your Thestral or horse-with-a-siren-on-his-head. I'm pretty sure you could fit about 100 spiders in the trailer before the open half-doors became an issue, too.

So easy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids and I enjoyed putting this together. Easy to follow instructions step by step we put it together in just less then an hour. Me and my kids have not had much experience with legos and we have found this set easy and not hard at all to put together. If your looking for a beginners set and your family is like mine with no experience building with Legos this is the perfect set.
