What it is: A cleansing gel that, on contact with water, becomes a light, silky foam.
Fragrance story: An enchanting gesture with notes of white musks, mimosa and blonde woods. Enriched with shea butter, it perfumes the body intensively while leaving it softened and invigorated. Settling onto the skin, the accords in L'Eau Papier prompt you to create, expressing your fantasies in drawings. Enriched with shea butter, it leaves the skin soft and perfumed.

Disappointing
I love the Papier fragrance and already on the perfume and hair mist, so wanted this to complete the collection. The bottle (which is tiny) has an ineffective pump head and is fiddly to use, but the actual body wash is so disappointing for the price point. It barely lathers and has a faint scent of the Papier fragrance. I definitely wouldn’t repurchase sadly.

Not Enough Bang for Buck!
I’m a fan of everything Diptyque and have been for many years. I’m very underwhelmed by this product. The fragrance is fine, but at this price point, a tiny (!) plastic (!) bottle just isn’t acceptable. Won’t buy again.

Lovely but probably overpriced for what it is
Lovely shower and hand wash. Smells good and not too overpowering. Pump a bit fiddly and you do seem to need quite a lot to wash with it, which was a bit surprising. I think I’ll enjoy using the rest of the bottle and it makes a lovely change but I don’t think i would repurchase it as there are better packaged, more high end products for less money out there. Looks pretty on the shelf. I know it’s a quality brand and it isn’t bad but I feel they could have done better with the pump and container.

Not for me....
I was very curious about what L'eau Papier might smell like and opted for the body wash, personally I disliked the smell of it and passed it on to my husband who disliked it even more than I did. Small bottle, attractive as a decorative thing in the bathroom but not for me.

gorgeous
I received a sample size of this and was shocked by how much I loved it and how much oomph the scent had, given I found the perfume more subtle. This is an absolutely gorgeous warm, musky scent. Comforting and enveloping. I just can't bring myself to purchase a full size due to the cost (plus I have quite a few shower gels waiting to be used) but I would love to have a full size of this one day. Decadence.
