Great for layering
I bought this fragrance for layering with the L’eau Papier EDP. The fragrance itself is a very subtle soft, musky skin scent. That being said it doesn’t have much longevity. I would recommend this for layering but not for use alone as it would not last very long. The packing is heavy and beautifully designed and I love the idea of it being refillable.

Great packaging, great scent
Love this Diptyque sent, and the heavy metal packaging makes for a really nice and luxurious application process. The scent is really clean, smells like freshly done laundry. Solid perfumes tend to sit quite close on the skin so the scent doesn't have a large sillage, so I wear it when I don't need perfume but still want to smell clean to people that hug me/shake my hand, or as a base for a spray perfume.

weak scent
I was soooooooo disappointed with how weak the scent was of this. After applying it I could literally hardly smell it, and I'm talking STRAIGHT after application. The container is really nice, one of my favourite designs from Diptyque for their solid perfumes, so the two stars are for that, but the fragrance itself, what a let down. Wish I'd purchased the hair spray instead....

Such an elegant way to use fragrance
These compacts are so attractive and well made. They are small but heavy and robust and perfect for travelling since they can fit into a pocket. This one is a gorgeous perfume which lasts well and is fresh and lighter than many things by this brand. It’s also refillable which is environmentally friendly and cost effective too.

Gentle
This is a lovely soft scent that you can smell when you are close to the source which makes it very intimate kind of scent for me. The packaging is beautiful and very sturdy as per usual. Another gem and favourite of the whole family in solid form. <3
