What it is: A limited-edition version of a moisturizing lip gloss available in four different shades, housed in a floral-detailed container. It's part of the Blooming Peonies Collection, a delicate and colorful ode to the peony, the Queen of Flowers, designed by artist Elzbieta Radziwill.

What it does: Le Phyto-Gloss embellishes the lips with extreme shine. Its enveloping texture is neither greasy nor sticky feeling: ultracreamy, it blends perfectly into the lips and coats them with a fine and silky gloss for an addictive soothing sensation. Available in two types of finish, shimmery or shiny, it's enriched with ultrapure mother-of-pearl for soft, deep or vibrant shades. Lips are immediately hydrated, plumped and smoothed. With repeated applications, they feel more soft, supple and nourished.

How to use: Apply the gloss with the high-precision tip, which perfectly hugs the shape of your lips.

pretty but not worth the price tag
Let me start off by saying, I love pretty packaging, and this lip balm has that. I wanted to treat myself to a lip balm that I felt spoiled pulling out of my purse. It really is very pretty. I love the color, Sunrise, which is a glassy sparkly pink that is not sticky but very emollient. I don’t detect any perfume/flavor to it. That said, the product itself is not better quality than a $20 tube from MAC or other type brand, ok? But I’m keeping it since I love the floral motif and the tube is so lovely. I would never spend this amount of money on a plain looking tube of their lip balm though. Photo is just the lip gloss, no additional makeup or lip product.

Quality does not match the price
I was so excited to gift the limited edition version of these glosses to a friend. I also got an original one with the zebra stripes for myself. Unfortunately, the product disappointed me as soon as I opened the package and felt how lightweight and cheap the packaging was--sure, it was pretty, but in terms of feel, heft, and design, it was no different from something I could have gotten from the drugstore. Not to say that there's anything wrong with drugstore products--they're affordable and lovely. The issue is that this particular product was advertised as a $65 luxury item when the quality screams $5 - $10. At that price, these glosses should be packaged in heavier and higher quality tubes. I never tested the actual gloss; the packaging was that disappointing. Never again.
