The result is a model of its kind: alternating feminine and masculine with the ambiguity of the centifolia rose, which is quickly picked up by a chorus of warm, spicy and woodsy notes such as cumin, olibanum, cedar and a touch of amber. I purchased this after falling in love with the Laundress Rose 31 detergent. Like another reviewer said, the scent does not linger and I may try their suggestion of the body oil. In my opinion this does not justify the price tag, so I returned it.

Lovely rose scented shower gel

Rose 31, I love it.
Poets describe scents. The rest of us are at a loss. I love this shower gel because of the fragrance. I generally don't care for rose but Rose 31 is not flowery. It's complex and sophisticated, a little mysterious and at the same time very soothing. It's pricey for a shower gel, but I discovered it at a hotel and decided I had to have it. And I do.

I wanted to love this, but the scent was not detectable enough and it was quite pricey so I brought it back. I do like their shower gel/oil much better.
