What it does:This plant-based formula is made with a blend of macadamia oil and botanical extracts that gently cleanse and soften hair. It pairs basil with verbena, a citrusy and vegetal aromatic note which increases each facet of basil.

Luxurious smell and soft hair
I tried this shampoo along with the Le Labo Basil Avocado conditioner. I was hooked on insanely expensive Oribe shampoo & conditioner and needed to give my wallet a break. Le Labo is not cheap but any means, but you get a luxury shampoo for a more reasonable price than Oribe. I have heavy blonde balayage highlights and fine hair but a lot of it. I need nourishing and moisturizing shampoo and conditioner without fading my color or weighing down my hair. This fits the bill in every way. I’m also really enjoying the earthy scent.

Contains sulfites!
Having tried Le Labo's Hinoki shampoo, I was anxious to try this too. I love the fragrance and how it works on my hair, however, I was surprised to discover that this contains sulfites. For some reason, I assumed it was sulfate free. From now on, I will only order the conditioner, which is also nice and doesn't seem to have sulfites.

Best Shampoo!
Best shampoo I have found and I am 66. It gives moisture and volume and your hair will feel great. Just wish it wasn't so pricy. But, your hair will have great shine.
