Le Creuset
In 1925, Le Creuset opened a foundry in Fresnoy-le-Grand, France, where it produced its very first enameled French oven in Flame orange—the brand's signature color. Every piece of Le Creuset cast iron is forged in that same foundry today, passing through the hands of at least 15 skilled craftsmen to ensure exceptional quality. The world-renowned brand's cookware offering has grown to include stoneware, stainless steel, silicone and more, with the mission to empower people to create joy through cooking.

Stops working…
I love this while it’s functional, but this is my second out of two that have stopped working. I can still get the cork out of the bottle, but not out of the lever.

Junk I think
Not sure if they even still have/sell these. I had an almost exact version of this made by someone else and loved it, years of service. There came a time when it would be nice to have another for a different location. My wife got me this one because I am such big Le Creuset fan, I have a large collection of virtually every type of item they have made over the years, all of it excellent ,even the first set I bought back in the early 80's are still working strong with my kids. This however lasted only a couple of month and gearing stripped as hard as that seems. This was a number of years back, I'm only here because I saw it going through old junk I should have tossed the other day and thought I would take a shot to see if I could source enough parts to try and make it sebvicable. 27 YEARS... And Still Going Strong
My LeverPull (previous branding name) has LASTED 27 YEARS... We received this as a wedding gift in January 1996 and still use this wine opener to this day. The opener still works perfectly, it is literally ageless.

The Lever Broke
The design of this wine bottle opener is great. However, the product did not hold up well. The handle broke off while we were using it resulting in red wine getting splattered all over our dining room - walls, rug, draperies, chairs - it was a mess. My experience with Le Creuset's product quality in the past has been very good, but they missed the mark on this one. Maybe it shouldn't be made of plastic??

we love this opener
We've had this opener for a few years now and think it's absolutely the best wine opener we've ever used. Makes opening a bottle of wine a smooth operation and releasing the cork is not an issue once you know how to do it.
