In 1925, Le Creuset opened a foundry in Fresnoy-le-Grand, France, where it produced its very first enameled French oven in Flame orange—the brand's signature color. Every piece of Le Creuset cast iron is forged in that same foundry today, passing through the hands of at least 15 skilled craftsmen to ensure exceptional quality.
