Perfect for us!
If you are shopping around on line for a tea kettle, you'll notice this one has very mixed reviews. I had always loved the design of the Le Creuset Classic, and that won out over the negatives. This tea kettle is perfect for us! We haven't had any of the common issues I had read about, though I have always cared for ours as recommended. We always completely empty after each use and we use our kettle on a gas stovetop and always make sure the flames stay underneath the pot. The spout will spray a tiny bit if you pour too quickly after the whistle. The handle sometimes gets hot and I use a hot pad. This Le Creuset is so beautiful and makes me smile when I see it sitting on our stovetop. Ours has held up beautifully after 5-7 uses per week and I anticipate using it for years to come. Definitely recommend!

My teatime
This teapot looks so cute left on the stove top. The lid is a little rough to close at times and I have a small chipped piece on the bottom of the tea pot. The good news is that the company offers a 5 yr warranty with purchase. Cheaper pots can be found at other stores but the crisp white it hard to find especially with warranty. I love the look and this teapot makes you want to drink tea throughout the day. It heats water up so hot!! The whistle is low but it does alert me to turn the stove off when the water is boiled. Love this piece it will last a long time.

This is a beautiful kettle. Appears to be quality constructed. Made in Vietnam. Rather expensive, but I used my rewards to purchase.

Le Creuset Tea Kettle
This is a very nice quality teapot. I got this as a wedding gift a year and a half ago and it has held up really well. It is sturdy and looks great (I have the caribbean color). I have never had any issues with rusting or paint chipping. Would recommend to a friend!

Love this tea kettle!
Just as you'd imagine a le creuset product to be, this tea kettle is high quality and beautiful. Holds a lot of water, boils fairly quickly, whistles, and doesn't get hot to the touch when pouring. Love it!! The white color is a beautiful cream marshmallow color. I've been using it daily since I got it because I love tea.
