Fantastic pan for crepe

The heat distribution is super evenly distributed, making pancake is a charm and the fact that the non-stick surface is not using any unhealthy products like teflon. It's a heavy pan (perfect) iwith a short handle that gets very hot quickly (not perfect) but we don't need to touch it until the end. Love this pan and so much better than the steel one I bought a couple months before this one.

First negative experience with Le Creuset!!!!!!

I have been cooking exclusively with Le Creuset pots and pans. I absolutely loooove this brand! Which is why this was SUCH STRANGE EXPERIENCE!! I have been using an omelet frying pan for years now as my crepe pan, and everything was great! But I wanted a treat, and asked my husband for a Crepe Pan from LeCreuset. Because it has to be perfect. Well! First of all, reviews on Williams and Sonoma and Sur La Table were….. not positive shall we say? But I braved it, because it's LeCreuset!!!!!! And my kitchen is stocked with this brand and I love each and everyone of my pots and pans. This was horrible. The inner surface is not smooth and enameled as usually with their other products. It is black and bumpy…. I let it heat…. And started on my crepes. Everything stuck, nothing flipped, it didn't heat and cook. It heated and burned and smoked and so on. Horrible!!!!!! Will be contacting the company and hoping for a resolution!!

Review for use on an induction stove

I recently bought a Traditional Round Crepe Pan (TRCP) for making pancakes on an induction stove because it has an enamel finish, which should be less likely to scratch the smooth surface of the stove than the griddle that I previously owned, which was rough cast iron. The TRCP is flat and thus, doesn't wobble on the stove surface like my old griddle. I am pleased with how well it cooks pancakes. I rated the pan a four instead of a five because after the pan gets hot, it slides along the surface of stove when I slip a spatula under a pancake to flip it. To prevent this, I have to hold the handle of the TRCP and slip a spatula under a pancake in the direction of the TRCP handle..

Use this crepe pan often! LOVE

Beautiful red, rich color. Iron is nonstick. I made a quesadilla and the cheese oozed out which worried me that it would stick to the pan and make a mess - I used a wide plastic spatula and no cheese left behind. Easy. I have also made crepes, and I give a quick spray of avocado oil and butter and try not to overheat - my crepe tools work great and my crepes are delicious. I'm working on an almond-flour crepe that takes more time to cook, but there is no mess on the pan when I flip the crepe. Highly recommend

Purchased two, considering a 3rd :)

I have actually never used this pan to make Crepes. I bought this because I felt it would be perfect for homemade Tortillas. I was right! I loved mine so much, that I bought one for my mom as well. It is very pretty, which is why I do not mind that it has a pretty consistent home on my stove.
