Le City Leather East/West Shoulder Bag

I never write reviews, but feel I need to flag this one as a PSA in case someone receives this bag I just returned. Unfortunately I was sent a counterfeit bag: incorrect hardware including, a poorly executed double top zipper with loose threads (the authentic bag has a single top zipper--Nordstrom photo is not correct). The tag on the inner pocket had a strange brand ribbon which appeared to be poorly glued to the tag (see photo). There was also a second inner pocket, which the authentic bag does not have. I'm a loyal Nordstrom customer and this is my first negative experience with Nordstrom.com. I recognize that Nordstrom is an authorized Balenciaga retailer and that they stand behind product authenticity. However, this was clearly the result of a fraudulent return. I contacted Nordstrom customer service immediately to document my concern, and and have shipped the bag back for a full refund. Hopefully this bag will be taken out of circulation immediately, and I sincerely hope that the Nordstrom staff that handle designer returns will handle these with more vigilance in the future. I've subsequently purchased this bag from Balenciaga directly for peace of mind. (Having received my authentic bag, I 100% agree with all the positive reviews of this practical and gorgeous bag!!).

I saw this bag while browsing the handbag section. I immediately fell in love with the bag. I love the colour, the crinkled leather, and it fits more than what it looks like it can fit. The leather is soft, but durable. Being I never seen this bag prior, it was an impulsive purchase, which I’m very happy with.
