I love this set. Perfect colors for all seasons. Beautiful packaging (and I usually don't care about that). The shadows are very soft and silky, easy to apply and blend. Lasts all day. Can be worn wet or dry. It really is just a beautiful color combo. For reference: I have brown eyes and hair and fair/medium (more fair) skin.

Total letdown
Even though I was lucky enough to buy during a flash sale, I am so thankful that at this price point and especially with all the different items I bought from Chantecaille, I decided to wait and color swatch in person before I used any of the items bc unfortunately it’s all being returned. I bought the Montecarlo combo which doesn’t look anything like the pic. The peachy shade had hardly any pigment and the other shade is just pure gold glitter. It makes buying the Chantecaille lion single color repetitive. I also purchased the green color combo and as soon as I saw it in person, I knew better to even try it bc this this is a green that would make my eyes look as if I was bruised. I’m sure it depends on one’s coloring though. I love Chantecaille‘s facial care items, and I have splurged plenty on those, but the cosmetic end has left me super underwhelmed. At these prices, yikes! I could go on a major drug store eyeshadow haul and come up with much better products. It’s too bad. I thought I got so lucky and really splurged with the sale prices, but even with the discount, I have beautiful eyeshadow palettes with much better color pay off and don’t have to spend this much either.

I purchased these in Tibet; Piazza San Marco; Grand Canal and Gardens of Marrakesh. They are so gorgeous, I almost don’t have any more words....
Beautiful pigment and a little really goes a long way, especially with the “darker” Tibet. Buttery texture. Slight shimmer that is very elegant and brightens the eyes and makes eye color really pop. Not glitter or blinding from space. Elegant. Excellent quality as you would expect from Chantecaille and even though price may seem high, the pans are a decent size and as I already stated- little goes long way. These have been sold out or back ordered on every site that carries Chantecaille, including their site! Get them while you can!! I’m ordering backups of my 2 favorites

I bought Piazza San Marco duo thinking it's lavender shade, but the shades are completely different. They are light and dark silvery colors. Pigmentation is good, but does not look at all like it is on the picture.

Great Formula and Great Color
I have purchased the Piazza San Marco once before, so this is my second purchase of the same duo. I just LOVE the deeper Shade called Pigeon!!! I only occasionally use the "Marble" color. That being said, Pigeon is like a very dark purple gray with a sheen that looks metallic in the palette but not that way on your eye lid. I do use a light neutral long wearing cream shadow first all over. I apply the Pigeon with Chantecaille Eye Blend brush in the crease. Only about one half to two thirds to the inner corner of my eye. This blends so nicely and the formula gives a sheer but defining color. Very elegant, not over done and I use it daily. I just add more for evening wear. I have blonde hair and blue eyes and I find this color to be extremely flattering (light skin tone) on me. I hope that they don't discontinue this!! It should be a classic and worth the extra$$.

This is not your ordinary duo, it's a HUGE duo and well worth the price! In addition, it's super fine milled so it's very soft and silky with extraordinary wear!

Grand Canal
I have hazel-Green eyes and Grand Canal is a gray-green and pearly cream duo. It is reflective of the deep green waters of Venice and the pearly marbled buildings along the Canal. This duo is generous in size and comes in a light weight gunmetal case with a shimmering “C” on the lid and large mirror in lid. The colors can be used wet or dry and are fully pigmented with a single swipe across the lid. This duo imparts a beautiful finish with a wet look sheen. Simply beautiful! Very creamy texture that glides on like silk . Wearable together or an excellent complement to other eyeshadows in your collection. I just added Kenya to my cart. You start with one and then can’t stop collecting!
