Details & care

The 1977 phenom released the same year as Nike's iconic Athletics West running club makes new loop around the track as a streamlined street sneaker sporting the same DNA that made it a miles-ahead winner. It still sits on the flared heel and waffle tread that grabbed the spotlight and kept it ahead of the pack half a century ago.

Great!

I live my LD-1000! I find them to be true to size and comfortable! I think they are well made and have worn the Nike brand for years! These are a lie profile lifestyle sneaker that you can dress up or down!

Order a 1/2 size smaller. Be careful not to fall

My size was too big. Shoe strings do not stay tied which is a tripping/falling hazard.

Overall love these with slight caveat

Soooo comfortable and stylish. I bought these for a month’s Japan trip with LOTS of walking and they were comfy from the first minute. I swapped out the white laces for black to tone them down and they worked well with casual and even more dressy outfits. My only disappointment is after 2 1/2 weeks wearing nearly daily the nubuck was already showing signs of wear. I even sprayed protectant on them before first wearing. But I am still super pleased with their comfort and their trendy look.

High quality. Good looking shoe. Wifey adores it.

Purchased for the Wifey. She adores them. I had purchased a pair of the Nike LD-1000 (the Nike X Aritzia collab - 'Edition A' in Sesame colorway) shoes for Wifey previously, and she was impressed with them. When I found these on the Nike App - I grabbed the pink colorway in her size to give her additional wardrobe options). According to her, sizing is good, comfort is good - and she like the overall look/appearance. From a quality standpoint, the leather is supple. The subtle debossed Swoosh & Nike branding on the backtab is nice. And, to my surprise, the 'ribbon laces' supplied with the pink colorway are very sturdy. This is a really good shoe overall.

She loves them!!! I got these for my wife and I have to say they are some really nice shoes. They stand out but in a fashionable way. She very impressed with them.

Crazy Fit

I ordered a size wide. The toe area fit well, however I walked out of them. I played with re-tying the laces to close up the heal area but it wasn’t enough. As for style, it’s too young for this Mimi. My plan is to return them.
