Wool Blend Wrap Coat

I ordered this coat in the vicuna camel color and it was exactly what I was looking for in a dressy wool coat. I received it sometime in mid-December and after wearing it for about 2 weeks, I noticed that the seam in the lining against the back of the coat ripped. I asked an online customer service rep if I could return my coat to my own store to see if they could order me a new one and they said yes. I noticed online that there was only one coat in my color and size left online, so I called the store just in case to make sure they could re-order it for me and ship it there. Whoever I spoke to at the store, though, was not very helpful and it’s possible they didn’t understand what I was asking. But they told me that they didn’t have any Ralph Lauren coats in store and referred me to check at another Nordstrom much farther away (note: I asked if they could re order the coat online for me...not give me another coat from in store). I went back online to talk to another customer service rep who was much more helpful. They happily ordered the coat for me, had it addressed to my home, and even put in a note to check the lining. I returned my original coat in store and I received my replacement in the mail just two days later...but the lining was Already starting to rip in the same exact place my original coat Ripped! Also, after one wear (and I promise you this cost fits me just fine), the seam in lining around one of the shoulders is also starting to come undone. I love this coat so much and took it to my own seamstress to reinforce (I talked to ANOTHER customer service rep, and they were kind enough to partially refund me for my woes, especially since I bought the coat at a higher price point—by the time I contacted them Again, the price dropped 15%). Thankful for Nordstrom’s help in mostly resolving my issues, but unhappy that RL’s quality was not up to par here.
