Single Breasted Plaid Wool Blend Coat

This is the perfect coat...good length for casual or more dressy, roomy but not oversized, comfortable, good length on the sleeves. I can see myself wearing this a lot this fall/winter. A timeless piece.

I really love this coat. The fabric is beautiful and it's well made. All of the lines of the plaid match up on the seams. However, while I usually find this brand runs TTS if not a little large, I had to size up for this coat to fit my hips. It is a straighter cut and I have an hourglass/pear shape. I'm typically an 8-10 and the 12 in this coat worked for me.

Ordered a size down as recommended by the Fit indicator. Had to return for a larger size. I feel this coat runs small, especially if you have curves. I am normally always 6 or an 8, but the 6 was much too snug. Couldn’t button it over my chest. Beautiful coat, though. If you have curves, go up.

I ordered size 10 and too large for me. I reordered size 6 and I hope it works. I'm 133 pound and 5' 7.

The 4 stars is largely due to this item being out of stock, not getting a bigger replenishment run, and the insane amount of time and energy on exchanges and returns I had to do in order to acquire this jacket in a size that fits. It runs HUGE! I’m usually a size 2-4 (5’4”, 127lbs, B-cup) and needed a size 0 in this coat. Because this item was sold out on early on the Anniversary Pre-Sale, as Influencer level in both the grey/black and tan/cream colors, I couldn’t get it at first. I had to wait for someone to return any size to get the item at the sale price. It took over a month for one to show up returned in my size range, and the size 4 in tan/cream was too big. A size 2 grey/black was returned, still too big. There is a tie-belt version in the grey/black print and a short crop peacoat version tan/cream print from Ralph Lauren that finally restocked, so I bought those ones instead and almost gave up, but the next day a size 0 grey/black was returned. In the end, I decided not to keep it. I really want the tan/cream color in the longer jacket. Macy’s just released the tan/cream in a new long style that has a hood, it’s not on sale, but I’m going that direction for the color I want. I’m very bummed at Nordstrom’s Pre-Sale inventory this year, this happened with so many items that were clearly going to be in-demand. Please order more sizes and quantities for the Anniversary Sale! These items should not be sold out before Influencers can shop the pre-sale or the actual sale even starts.
