Great coat
I didn't have arm fitting issues like some other reviewers, but I will say the coat I received is a totally different shade of grey than the one pictured (much darker). I'm keeping it, but buyer be warned.

wrong color
The color in the photo showed a very light grey, but the coat I received was a true charcoal. I have a charcoal coat in my closet and was shopping for a more casual light grey. The fit was nice and i liked the way it looked, so I’m disappointed and now skeptical about the Lauren sub brand of RL.

irregular fit and color
Ordered the new vicuña color and sized up based on other reviews. I patiently waited for this color and my size to be back in stock and when it went on sale, I immediately purchased it.
The color is not a rich camel like the pictures show. It’s a funky shade of brown that I don’t see aging well. The reviews are right that it runs small in the shoulders and armpits. However, the waist area does not run small. The coat fits baggy around the waist and hips. I have loved Ralph Lauren coats in the past because they create a beautiful silhouette. This is not one of those coats. It’s such an awkward fit and i didn’t like the color.

Too small- need to size WAY up
Coat was pretty and seemed to be good quality, but two sizes too small. I bought a 16 and couldn't get the coat to close. Felt like a 10 or 12. Won't buy this brand again.

beautiful but runs small
It’s a beautifully made coat heavy and with a quality feel. But runs small on arms and chest. Not true to size. I’m plus size and got a 18W. Had to return it but it is definitely chic. Sad that it didn’t fit

Well-made, attractive coat
This coat is what I had been looking for to wear for holiday dressing and more formal occasions this fall. It’s a little tight in the shoulders but otherwise fits well and looks sharp. One caveat - it took me a long time to figure out whether it actually had pockets. The pockets were sewn so tightly shut when I got the coat that I wasn’t sure if they were mock pockets or real. I finally was able to cut through the thread and yes, there are lined pockets in the coat. Yay.

FIT IS GREAT
I love the fit of the coat and have it it many colors but I just received what I THOUGHT was going to me a light/medium gray (as in the website pics) but its a dark charcoal gray. Very disappointed. Why is the picture SO LIGHT???
