Quilted Crest Vest

Nordstrom is wrong… this vest runs small. Have to return for a larger size. I got the dark green color, which has gray undertones … a great neutral that’s a little different. Vest is so well-made and structured and looks just as shown in the photo. Too bad about the size description… Nordstrom will get a lot of returns on this item because of it.

I’ve been looking for a vest for leggings and jeans on cool days and always like RL pieces with the crest. I ordered black, navy, moss, and chili. The XL was loose and looked too big, although it was nice and comfortable because of that. I’ll probably keep the L though since it looks better on. I wish it fit in between the L and XL in the mid-section. I love the black and navy. I was disappointed in chili as it’s not as bright a red as it looks online. It won’t go with bright red accessories as it’s almost a weirdish pink red. I’m undecided on moss. It has a somewhat grey tone, not an olive or loden green look.

This is a really nice classic vest and the navy was perfect, but the sizing is so not fair, an XL should be made for someone XL and not like a size 8. I was so looking forward to this vest being in my fall/winter wardrobe but wasn't going to happen. Like the other review about not for large chests, that was spot on. I wish these designers could make appropriate changes in clothing for us larger chested girls. Sadly returned.
