Quilted Crest Hooded Coat

I’m 5’0 and weight aprox, 210lbs. I was skeptical in purchasing this coat because I’ve tried on many other Ralph Lauren coats and they definitely run small. I can say this one runs true to size based on their size guide, and even has a little wiggle room. It’s a very nice coat and I love all the details it has. It also came packaged well (nothing fancy though) The reason I give it 4 stars is because it’s more like a jacket rather than a coat. I wouldn’t feel warm in this coat during snowy weather. For the price I expected a thicker quality. Other than that I’m happy with my purchase but I’m glad I got it on special and did not pay original pricing.

This is a beautiful coat and well made. Like the quilting and it is not big and puffy like some of the quilted coats. Great quality. Inside is nicely lined, very much like the pocket placement as well. I particularly like that you can remove the hood -- this was one of the main features I was looking for when shopping for a coat. I bought two of these coats, one for myself and one for my Daughter and we just love them.

This is a nice coat — nice weight, nice fabric and I love the trademark lining. Kinda retro :) However, the pockets are across the front with trim, so quite prominent in the design. There are no side pockets. Which pretty much leaves you without a place for your keyfob or a lipgloss. That just didn’t fit my life and habit. Otherwise, it’s a nice piece of outerwear.
