Lightweight Zip Jacket

Love the tailoring and style! Runs slightly large. I’m a size 12 pant/jean and ordered size large. I’m also short-waisted and 34D bust. There is plenty of room in the waist and below and even room in the bust for larger than 34 D. There is an adjustable drawchord inside the waist (yay!) NOTE, there is a hood folded up inside the collar, but this is not mentioned on the on-line description. Overall, I find this to be a great jacket(falls a few inches above the knee—I’m 5’5”.) For early Spring, Fall, and rainy days.

I wanted something like a cross between a trench coat and a raincoat for an upcoming trip. This jacket almost works. At first I was put off by the large, almost shawl collar on this jacket. But then I learned the collar is two layers velcroed together to conceal a hood. You separate the Velcro and unfold the hood. With the hood unfolded the large collar looks more nirmal. Still, I would prefer a smaller collar and detachable hood. It’s a clever design tho I ordered my usual size and it was comfortable, maybe a tad roomy, but you can adjust the waist with the internal drawcords. It is lightweight but still substantial enough to hang nicely. I’m leaning toward keeping it.

This jacket is the perfect fit. It's slightly roomy in order to fit a lightweight sweater, but not so roomy where you need to order a size down. I love that it has a drawstring at the waist as well as 'hidden hood'. This is the perfect jacket to wear on slightly colder or rainy days. I am 5'5, 135lb for reference and it covers your butt; not too long, or too short. It's lightweight, but it feels well made. I highly recommend.
